Residents of Camarillo send their children to one of eight public elementary schools, which serve Grades K-5, except for Los Primeros Structured Elementary School, which serves Grades K-8. In addition, Santa Rosa Technology Magnet serves children in Grades K-7. Middle-schoolers in Grades 6-8 attend either Monte Vista or Los Collenas Middle Schools; high schoolers go to either Adolfo Camarillo High School or Rio Mesa High School.

Those wishing to send their children to private schools may choose from one of the three that serve grades PK-5, PK-8and K-8. Additionally, two private schools serve all grades, with one school offering pre-kindergarten through 12th grade classes and another offering classes for Grades 1-12.
