home buyersLadera Heights is a community on the outskirts of Los Angeles area. Culver City lies to its west, Inglewood to its east, the unincorporated area of Baldwin Hills to its north, and the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles to its south and southwest. Ladera Heights's location also puts you close to some of California's famous beaches. Ladera Heights is an affluent, upper-middle class area.

Home to just over 6,800 residents, Ladera Heights has a number of single-family homes which are rather large compared to other homes in nearby areas. Typical homes in Ladera Heights are ranch-style, and have five to six bedrooms with three or four baths. Many of these homes have wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean. There are a few multi-family dwellings available. These are smaller properties, for the most part, with only a few units.

Recreational opportunities for Ladera Heights residents include the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area. This area is located off La Cienga Boulevard just north of Laderaheights, has hiking trails, fishing, and great views of Los Angeles. In addition, Fox Hills Park in nearby Culver City, has picnic areas, a basketball court, soccer field, and a tennis court. Shopping enthusiasts can visit the outdoor mall shops at Ladera Center, or head to Westfield's Fox Hills Mall or Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.

Halloween is a very big holday in Ladera Heights. During the season, you will find significant displays of spooky yard decorations and many residents answer their door on Halloween in freigtening costumes. Over the years, word has gotten out that Ladera Heights is a good community for trick-or-treating and many parents from outside the community bring their children.

Schools of the Inglewood Unified School District serve the residents of Ladera Heights. The thirteen elementary schools in Ladera Heights house different grade levels. Seven of the schools are for children in Grades K-5; three serve children in Grades K-6; the remaining three serve children in Grades K-8. In addition, there are two middle schools and two high schools. Private schools are located in nearby neighborhoods.
